Whiskey & War Stories

Thursday, February 26, 2026

Hosted at Louisville Marriott Downtown - Bluegrass Room
280 W. Jefferson St, Louisville, KY 40202
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Want to learn about Horse Soldier Bourbon and America’s resilient response to 9/11 from those who lived it?

Join us for a special Whiskey & War Stories to hear how the original Horse Soldiers, a group of Special Forces veterans, served our country through countless missions, then came together to make award-winning Bourbon Whiskey — blending military heritage with modern craftsmanship.

Mark Nutsch, Commander of ODA-595, will share his story and lead participants in sampling all three Double Gold award-winning Horse Soldier Bourbon offerings.

Legendary Men. Legendary Spirits.
Crafted by the men who answered America’s call just days after 9/11 with a daring mission into Northern Afghanistan by a small team of U.S. Army Green Berets mounted on horseback. These same men were featured in the Hollywood film “12 Strong" as well as in the documentary “Legion of Brothers” and are memorialized by the America’s Response Monument at Ground Zero in New York City. Horse Soldier Bourbon bottles are forged in steel molds created from repurposed World Trade Center steel. Each bottle reflects a commitment to quality, authenticity, and building a legacy rooted in service, entrepreneurship, and American freedom.

Ticket price includes heavy appetizers, tasting of three award-winning Bourbons, a signed bottle of Horse Soldier Straight Bourbon, and untold stories of American Heroes.

Must be 21 or older. Availability is very limited for this exclusive event.
